Welcome to SUMS!
Suntree United Methodist School has been proudly serving our community and meeting the needs of the whole child for over 30 years. The children within our school will be respected and loved while in our care. Each child will have the opportunity to build positive learning experiences, grow in self-concept and self-esteem, gain abilities in problem solving and working collaboratively, and so much more. Together as a school family we live as lifelong learners, growing together spiritually, socially, emotionally, academically, and physically.
What's new at SUMS?
We are always working towards improving our school through professional development and the addition of innovative ideas. These are just a few of the new things that are happening on our campus.
Amy, a former parent and professional artist, has so kindly donated her time to creating a beautiful mural in our outdoor classroom.
Science Exploration
Dr. Diana has been a part of our school
family for many years. Her love for children and awakening an enthusiasm for science within our community is made obvious in all that she does. In response to Dr. Diana's influence, we have created a science exploration area where the children can touch science on a daily basis.
